Welcome to CranioSacral Vancouver
Welcome to CranioSacral Vancouver. Providing relief for many physical, emotional and somatic conditions, CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a hands-on healing modality using extremely light touch, in the order of 5 grams, about the weight of a nickel, to enable the body’s own healing processes.
Sometimes life is too busy for our bodies to relax and do necessary healing work. CranioSacral Therapy helps create a quiet space where the body can comfortably do its own healing work. The therapist doesn’t direct the healing agenda, rather he or she follows the cues your body provides and supports the body’s own plan.
Extremely light touch makes CranioSacral Therapy an ideal healing path for anyone, including highly sensitive people, those with chronic pain issues and people who appreciate a path that gently accesses the body’s own highly intelligent healing abilities. Complementary to other bodywork modalities, as well as an ideal supplement to conventional (allopathic) medicine and psychological counseling, CranioSacral Therapy addresses the sources rather than the symptoms of disorders and focuses on freeing those “stuck” areas.
Treatments are typically carried out on a standard massage table. You will be lying face up, fully clothed, shoes off. No oils or lotions are used. Please wear light, comfortable clothes.
CranioSacral Therapy is effective for many disorders associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

- Migraine Headaches
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Motor-Coordination Impairments
- Sinus Conditions
- Autism
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- Orthopedic Problems
- Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries

- Fibromyalgia and other Connective-Tissue Disorders

Due to its gentle, non-invasive nature, CranioSacral Therapy can also be used effectively with children and newborns. (At this time I am not treating children under the age of 12. Please see the links in the right-hand column to locate a therapist specializing in children.)
